What is Marci and why do I need Marci?
Marci is a hosted service that displays your SHOUTcast server song history in a nicely formatted, highly configurable list you can display anywhere on your website. Think "Now Playing" with the current song at the top of the list.

Can I upload images for artists with Marci?
You don't have to use the image Marci grabs for you. Login to your control panel, click "Marci Thumbnails Admin" and browse the pages filled with your artist thumbnails. Click directly on the artist thumbnail you'd like to edit. Marci will grab all the images she can find for that artist and display them for you. You can click directly on the image you'd like to use or click 'Browse' to select an image of your own from your computer. Click 'Upload'. Done. Marci will save the selected image with the artist's name and create a new thumbnail for you. Easy!
What other benefits does Marci offer?
Marci saves artist images for your song history in a special folder. When an artist plays, Marci first checks to see if she already has a thumbnail for the artist. If she does, she displays it. If she doesn't already have an image, she'll grab one for you, save it, create a thumbnail and display it automatically.
Marci can also create a static file of your song history to display at a set interval rather than making a request for your song history from your SHOUTcast server every few moments. This means fewer connections to your SHOUTcast server for your song history and a faster song history display on your website.
